Re shipping powder; I've shipped defective cartridges back to a manufacturer. Look up ORM_D, and make sure it's written on the package.

Cartridges are one thing, no hazmat when ordering, unfortunately powder and primers have the hazmat. I don't know but would tend to believe earlier posts that you have to be a hazmat shipper.
I would also guess there are really nasty penalties for shipping powder or primers without the proper requirements being met.

Go directly to Jail, do not pass go, do not collect $200.....

This is bad advice.

Powder and primers are NOT the same as loaded cartridges. You cannot ship powder or primers under simple ORM-D. Powder and primers are hazmat.

Anyone have a lead to where I could possibly pick up a Forster 300 blackout full length die?

I can't seem to find one anywhere and I have a friend who would like me to make up some brass for him.

Thanks bds. I saw them on MidWay but was hoping I could pick just the FL die up. I was also hoping to avoid going directly through Forster since they are $15- $20 more expensive!

I may just have to suck it up though! I appreciate the help!

i was off work, so i checked gunbot powder reloading twice this am. second check found varget available in midsouth shooters , put some in my cart then thought what else will i get for my hazmat fee. looked at primers.. might as well get that comparator i was interested in less than 5 minutes my cart now shows varget to be on backorder. grrrrrrrrrr...

Been watching the powder suppliers closely myself. And my advice, if you really "need" Varget, then when it pops up throw it in the cart, pay the hazmat and move on.

PV sold 160 8# jugs in like 12 minutes.

PV has 8 pounders of LEVEREVOLUTION powder this AM
Thats what i did....

was looking for h335 BAD.... Gamaliel had it... put 2 8lb in my cart and Ordered It...

Did the Same when i Found CFE223 & Tightgroup..... would like ta find some W231 but really have plenty of handgun Powder ta last awhile... if I run outa W231 I have Tightgroup.

Ya Just gotta PULL the Trigger when ya Find what ya need or want or can use...

I passed on an 8 pounder of AA #9 the other day, and regret it. Big dummy.

With any kind of luck the powder guy will be at the gun show this weekend and have something I need. If he has some of any of these, 2400, AA #9, Enforcer, RL 15, IMR 4895, or 3N37, I'm buying a jug of it.

I am OK on powder, but this shortage is starting to crimp my style. I am out of 2400 & AA #9, I have less than a pound of 4895 and Enforcer, and I'll probably run out of RL15 this year.

I pretty much just use 4 powders
W231 .357
H110 .357 mag
Tightgroup 9mm
H335 (wc844) .223
CFE223 is a new one I tried and really Like it

I probably have about 50lbs combined of the above.... and enough Bullets for most of it.... and plenty of Primers

Most is thanks to BDS and this thread.....

PULL THE TRIGGER!!!!!!

Walkalong,

I was in Bruno's yesterday looking for IMR 4350 (no luck) but bought a 8lb jug of IMR 4064. The website is rarely up to date as things generally move through the store faster than they can update the site. You may want to give them a call about the IMR 4895. How are they? I seen some items I needed on their website, but am unsure since I've never done business with them and don't hear much about their service.

JW,
They are good folks.
Their primary customers are competitive shooters - benchrest, mostly. Not everybody knows they are there but they do a pretty good business.

Ok cool. I saw some stuff I needed on there for this years matches and was going to order. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't going to take 2 months to get stuff in after ordering.

Thanks again. I'll have to call them then and make sure they have in stock what I need and order.
