M44 Polish 1951
Just bought a Mint M44 un fired and no import marks Took it all apart and cleaned it up took a bore scope and inspected the bore just clean as the day it was made, However the trigger was not as I would not have liked it to be.
Took out the trigger retaining pin removed the trigger spring. put the trigger spring in a vise and took off a small amount of stock at the rear of the spring where it rests on the receiver
moving forward took a small amount off of the sear TOP.
Took the trigger spring and polished up the sear face and the same to the bolt sear face.
Reassemble trigger install bolt and try the trigger.
This will take up the slack and tighten up the trigger. Much better trigger feel and a crisp brake
