If your wife...

I'd have a bolt action, 35 Remington, built off of a model 700, 308 action. with an 18 inch barrel, custom, highly figured and curly walnut stock stock, that was slender through the throat of the grip and the forearm. measured 12 3/4" length of pull, and have enough rise in the butt stock to be able to weld it hard to my face with these new, long eye relief, Redfield Reveloution 2 by 7 by 32mm scope. That scope would set atop that gun in extra low, talley one piece ring and base mounts. It would have a drop plate instead of a clip, and it would carry a proper checkering, with a piece of ebony or black Micarti forearm tip. It would be finished with Thunderbird to a dull gloss. It would make your eyes water, and palms clinch by just looking at it.

If it were me, with the guns I currently own, I'd probably put about $1500 into a rifle and some extras, about $1250 for a decent scope, and $750 into a reloading kit and components.

If I were you, with the guns you said you own, I'd put it all toward a nice vacation and take my wife to Greece for a couple weeks.

Well. Now I feel like scum. :(

That was beautiful. Like a short romance novel about your dream gun. Kudos to you, sir. You have very clear vision of your desires. Such a trait will save you much meandering in life.

For 3500 I can knock of 4 or 5 firearms off my dream sheet and still have money left over. What can I say...I'm a cheap date.

(Checks the price of an Ohio Ordnance 1918a3)

Not enough. :(
OK...now that's a cool gun, historic, even though replica of sorts.
If I set up on a hill overlooking a open valley filled with game...that 20 lbs. may work out?

I have to kick-in a bit of coin...to cover that one.:scrutiny:

A very First "carry" handgun (Sig 232), and the rest on handgun/rifle ammo. Practical items.

Possibly the extra heap of change from the gun deal spent on a (first) progressive reloader and components.

LOL, never had a woman who had money to give me... Usually its the other way around...

Glad im not married though. I spend around 1000 bucks a month on gun related items. That wouldn't fly I don't think.
