As for myself, the Smith & Wesson Model 66 2.5" barrel ,is the favorite at a decent price. Sheriff Jim Wilson, who I admire, had this as his carry gun for years,

The Smith Model 65 with the 3" barrel is a close runner up. Both are 357/38 revolvers.

What is on your 2015 wish list? :)

What I'm most excited for in 2015 is the CMMG MK 47 Mutant. It's from everything I can gather a 7.62x39 AR finally done right. P1360038-900x601.jpg

KelTec KSG

Don't have any practical need for it, but it does look like it can be fun.
Prices are finally coming down, hopefully next year they will be reasonable.

I've got a hankerin' for a .31 caliber Uberti 1849 Pocket Revolver. 2015 could be the year I git one!

Happy New Year to all!

For awhile now I have been thinking about getting a Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless, probably in .380 as I already have quite a bit of it on hand.

Same as last year. S&W Model 69 L-frame .44 Mag. Doubt the money situation will get any better, but maybe I'll be able to squirrel away enough pennies.

If H&K releases the long awaited, much rumored P30 subcompact, that may well go straight to the head of the line.

Since I just bought a Sig AR brace from Palmetto for $99, apparently an AR pistol is in my future. Need to complete the Glock 20 Longslide project. Fired OK on Monday.

A custom left handed bolt action rifle that I will use for the rest of my life. I am 37 and have been hunting for a long time but it seems like every couple of years I am on to a new rifle. Most of the really nice rifles I own I do not field because I am too paranoid about messing them up. I change cheaper rifles every couple of years. I am also left handed and have never owned a left handed bolt.

Right now I am thinking a Cooper Custom in 30-06 or 7 mag with a nice walnut stock and a high gloss finish. I will have to get it in my head that its ok to carry it thru mesquite and cactus.

I don't know, I had a net of -1 guns in 2014 and I may or may not acquire any in 2015.

Glock 17 is currently next in line.

Possibly a forbes ultralight bolt gun in 325wsm. Cant really say why i NEED it, but i guess its a scratch to be itched.
