I have a cheap sword cane. I bought it on the internet a few weeks ago. It's black, thin steel, with an eagle head. The blade is about 15+ inches long. I've been working on the blade, as it was just a blunt edge. I probably will need to spend another 30 or 40 minutes to get it as sharp as I want it. I paid less than $30 for it. It'll be used as needed.
I went to the doctor several years ago with trouble in my left knee. He ordered Xrays of both knees. I went back a few days later. He told me that my right knee's cartilage was in great shape. When he didn't say anything more, I asked him what about the cartilage in the left knee. He asked, "What cartilage? You don't have enough to find any!" lol
I haven't used the cane yet, but when the knee begins acting up again, I will use it. Most time it will bother me for a couple of weeks twice to three times a year.
It will be legal for me to carry the sword cane because I have a concealed weapons license. In the meantime, I'll continue to carry the little Bersa .380.
