    duracoat a revolver

Thanks for the replies guys! I never really thought they would be collectors or anything, but I just wanted to make sure. I've only bought new guns, and yesterday I picked up my first revolver ( 4" GP100 ), and I'm starting to notice a lot of cool little snubbies with some history that need a...

    duracoat a revolver

I've noticed a lot of my local shops have old S&W model 36 and colt cobra snubbies for sale in the $250 range. Most of these look in decent shape but I would like to buy them and make them look better. Would using duracoat on them totally kill their value? I think a semi gloss black or the...

    Questions

Thanks a lot for the detailed replies, I feel a lot better about giving this a try now. This is really to get my defensive shooting better, and I'm really fine with last place as long as I shoot safely and in the scope of my abilities for now. Thanks again guys.

    Questions

Hi all, I'm getting into IDPA and IPSC shooting this month and had some quick questions. 1. I'm using a RIA Compact 45 with an IWB holster. When I'm told to make my firearm ready, does it go into locked and cocked and into holster? Do all of you using 1911's use the cocked and locked method...
