    S&W CS9, CS45 - Chiefs Special - Opinions?

SamualT - I know this is an older post - but - did you ever decide or buy a CS45? I've had mine for several years & it was good right out the box - no break in needed. Still my CC when wear cover garment. Times I don't or can't wear a cover garment I pocket carry a S&W 642 .38 snubby.

What handguns are on your 'to buy list'?

If Ruger ever makes some Compacts - 1911 or other I'll strongly consider them. I have a P94 in .40 caliber and love it. Would like smaller if they ever make one.

    GF does NOT like guns...

Dinner in a questionable neighborhood late at night. My wife had been poking jabs calling me a gun nut till I took her out to eat at night in such neighborhood. When some of the other customers walked in and looked around she asked me if I had my gun. PS: This place wasn't really bad - to...

    My wife is so cool....

I "ditto" the Colt Defender suggestion. I recently aquired one and it's great for CC, fun to shoot, Easy to clean. Box of 100 .45's at Wmart was 19.00

Anyone shooting a Ruger P? in Production?

I've had a P94 in .40 caliber for several years. Very happy with it. Shoots great, feels good to hold, easy to break down and clean and now Crimson Trace makes laser grips for it. It's my duty gun for when on Aux Police. Used to be my primary concealed carry gun too. Kinda big for that but...

    Ruger ??

Ruger HOOWAH! I have a .40 cal P94. Great pistol! I'd love it if Ruger came out with a Compact P Series for CC. 9mm, .40 and .45 caliber options.

I like Federal's EFMJ. I use their .45 ACP in my Colt Defender.

    Got some sobering news today...

May God be with you. I went through Benning for predeployment back in 03. Spent a little time in Kuwait supposing to get acclimated to high temps. Was in Kuwait Spring of 03 then Summer and Fall in Baghdad. Get a camel back\pack water thingie, you'll need it. We were never told how long we'd...

Defended myself with a shotgun today...

Quote: Late last week I had to dust the neighbors dog. Cornered my wife, so it had to go. The neighbor was told several times (by me) that his dog was running out of second chances to charge my wife and he'd better tie it up or fence it ============================================ Neighbor...

    Concealing your extra mags

I sometimes carry extra mag(s) in a leatherman (multitool) holster. I'd like (if could find) an ankle holster for extra mag, small light and pepper spray.

    Reasons for Carry Permit

Here in Alabama you just hand them your drivers license (they do a computer lookup to make sure non-felon) then $20 and sit & smile for your photo. About 20 min's later your outta there with your permit. No tests, no class to take, no reason's to give, Heck, you don't even have to own a gun to...

    What's the most powerful now?

Is the .44 Mag still the most powerful handgun as Dirty Harry claimed a while back or has another taken it's place? Most powerful revolver = ? Most powerful Semi = ? Thanks

    What would you do?

What'd I do? Depends on a few things like; Family with me? Where am I sitting in respect to the BG's and entrance\exit, anyone in the way? I am of the frame of mind that if\when someone does something like this - I have no reason to believe they won't shoot someone (my family, me, other...

    Carry Question

As long as I have a choice I'll never take a job that keeps me from exercising my right to be armed. If it's not mentioned in any of my interviews or papers I have to sign upon hiring in I'll take that for an okay to carry and just keep it private - no one's business but my own.
