Look around at the auction sites, and the CMP web site to see if anything is within your budget. The state association contact may bring some rewards, also there are many more forums with sale sections. Clubs often have sales, check into your local clubs for upcoming events. Juniors in clubs...

Turn it in to... insurance. You did insure it when you sent it...right? It was probably damaged in transit. It's a pain to do, but I've had 2 claims and eventually they worked out. HTH Bruce

You may have a primer or some other piece of trash under or in the FCG. Disassemble the FCG and reassemble. Just a thought... Bruce

I decided to get a Lothar Walther bbl off Gunbroker. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=179877085 I added the extra $30 for finishing and built it as pictured. Shoots great and for me, the 1 in 8 twist was the correct bbl. They also have 20" and longer and other chamberings...
