I have two HPG kit bags, one for hiking and one for fishing. I got tired of constantly rearranging. I like them a lot.

I recently bought the hd orange model. I like it! It came wicked sharp. I used to make my first bow drill and it works great. Was easy to sharpen too. I just wish it had a sharper spine for a ferro rod. I like the sheath too. Great deal for under $20.

I have the enhanced pancake for a model 29. Holster is great! Just doesn't get used as much as it should cause it's a big gun.

In almost any similar situation, I'm outta there. Call 911 and you need to know the address, weapons or not, injuries, suspect description, direction of travel if they left, and vehicle plate or at least description.

I moved to Idaho from New Jersey over 17 years ago. I couldn't imagine ever going back. Here, the rivers ARE full of fish and the mountains are full of game. You can drive a few minutes and hike or fish for days and rarely see anyone, except for the popular trailheads. Living away from cities...
