Update on the TFL Alumni shirts

Mine came in perfect condition. Everything I expected. Good doing business with you Larry! Thanks for the extra mile for the cause.

Greg L Indeed. There was a thread recently on TFL, I think, about the relatively recent (a decade or two) demonization of guns on network tv.

Greg L I have to respectfully disagree. Take a look at TV listings: there is a specialty show for just about every activity you'd want to think of. The broad spectrum of firearms, shooting sports, self-protection and so on covers a lot of ground. Yes, there are a lot of well-positioned anti...

What wrong with showing pics in 'the hunt' of shot annimals that show blood?

These pictures are all posted along with the veracity of the story on Snopes.com. The Durango driver was one fortunate guy. It's kind of the ultimate safety lesson about overdriving your headlights in rut season (but that's not what happened here).

I'd like to see a weekly syndicated news magazine show on firearms, covering legislative issues, personal protection techniques, shooting sports, events, and equipment reviews. The format would be positive and entertaining, with segments covering all types of shooters in all age groups. I'm...

Fredericksburg VA are you on the list?

Running an archives search for "concealed" and then clicking on "cached" next to the result brings you to the original search page. It doesn't seem to work right now. That link posted above seems to be busted. Worth watching for awhile.

Fredericksburg VA are you on the list?

I question the agenda of the paper. Does this information, made public, somehow make everyone "safer," like posting registered sex offenders? The records start at the end of 2001, apparently. There was a big bubble of permits issued in the weeks following 9/11/2001.

    Carry at work or not?

DC, gov't building, metal detectors. No. Of course, everything is perfectly safe here and there is no crime since guns are not allowed.

Gazruss, hi: I'm guessing that no government or entity has the money to place cameras everywhere. Criminal activity, therefore, would be concentrated in those areas where no one cares to place cameras. Maybe my neighborhood wouldn't rate. Would yours? Furthermore, I've seen many cases...

    Who got you into shooting?

My parents, who bought me a Crosman 760 (that I still have). Then a friend in high school, who shot with his dad competitively. And in the past few years my wife, who wanted to become proficient and comfortable with handguns. Now, I want to learn sporting clays, trap, and skeet.
