Ok, I got it this time. The Recoil lug was not perpindicular to the bore, but it was close enough that it looked good by eye. I ended up going off the bottom of the reciver where the mag box goes in. Now it is lined up beautifully. Thanks for the input.

My range setup is a Glock 22 with the Storm lake 9mm conversion. I run glock 9mm mags. 2000+ Rounds so far. The only problems (maybe 2-3) were within the first 50 rounds or so. After the barrel mated with the gun it has been 100 %. I am very happy with it.
Hold up. 7.62x39 or 7.62x51? They make both. Anyways i assume you are talking about x39. The x39 is mostly imported so if they decide to stop importing it, there wont be much around. The .223 is more expensive but you should be able to get it in that SHTF Scenerio if borders are closed.
