Tell me about the craziest issue you've seen with a new gun...

A friend bought a SCCY on a whim and on his third shot at the range, the front site came off. Several years ago, the person next to me was shooting a Keltec 9 and the magazine blew out and burned his hand. I don't know if he had a squib or what, but someone took him to the ER for treatment.

    Best budget revolves under $350

The Rossi revolvers are inexpensive and my friends is very reliable. I wouldn't carry his though because it has the easiest revolver trigger I've shot. They are covered by Taurus warranty. A used Smith or Ruger would be better for most situations.

I have seen a couple of Walter PPX's just over $300. The Canik are good as are the SARS.

Walther PPS or Springfield XDs 9?

I have a PPS M2 and have sot my friends XDS and the PPS is much more comfortable to shoot. Both are accurate. I would rate everything better on the PPSwith night sights.

    22lr choices

I have owned a MK III and a Bukmark from your list and the Buckmark was more accurate and easier to clean. It did not like the cheaper Federal range ammo though. The Sig 1911 22 is another great shooter and it was not picky with ammo. I currently have a Ruger revolver for my 22lr plinking, but...

Self Defense Ammo for aGen 3 Glock 26

    Best current production 9mm

In that price range, For pocket carry Sig P938 because it is well built and accurate, for IWB or OWB carry Walter PPS M2 because it is not ammo picky, is very accurate, completely reliable and a soft shooter, for duty/home defense Sig P320, Walther PPQ M2 or the H&K VP9 (Note the VP9 has the...

Help deciding on a concealed carry gun.

I have owned the XDS9 & Shot several Shields, but found the PPS M2 was best for me.

Girsan MC28 SAC--great new pistol find

Congrats, sounds like you found a bargain. A friend has a Canik (Paid $340) and loves it. He put fiber optic sights on it and it has been accurate and reliable. Some of the Turkish pistols are very good bargains.
