Please attend Maryland Rally February 6

It looks like Senator Raskin (who is a cosponsor of SB281) is more interested in playing computer games than listening to our testimony. https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/48087_10151742949654762_1524973114_n.jpg

Slew of gun related legislation introduced in Maryland

I received the follow response from Senator Forehand who is a member of the Senate Judicial Proceedings. She doesn't seem to care about 2nd amendment rights unless I reside in her legislative district... :( XXXXXX, Are you are resident of Legislative District 17 which includes Rockville...

Slew of gun related legislation introduced in Maryland

I received this response from Senator Karen Montgomery today: Hello XXXXXXX, I appreciate your concern over gun control. The events in Newtown, Connecticut were horrifying. Killing children can wake up a nation to address a major issue. Maryland should not be exempt from this wake up call in...

Slew of gun related legislation introduced in Maryland

At the very least we need to lobby the JPR committee and House Judiciary Committee hard to drop the ridiculous handgun permitting process that the administration has proposed. All the hoops law abiding citizens will need to go through will place a stigma on being a handgun owner that will...

Maryland Introduces 10 Round Magazine Bill

Delegate Gutierrez introduced this bill on January 16, 2013 that restricts the magazine capacity to 10 rounds. Currently (January 18th) it is in the House Judiciary Committee. Text of legislation: http://mgaleg.maryland.gov/2013RS/bills/hb/hb0107F.pdf

    Mossberg 500 Side Saddle

I would agree that side saddles are ridiculous in most situations with the exception of home defense. A side saddle allows one to carry more rounds with them. Otherwise (with a pump) you are limited to whats in the tube. Grabbing a bunch of shells and sticking them in your pocket takes too...

    Mossberg 500 Side Saddle

I'm in the market for a side saddle for my Mossberg 500. Does anyone have recommendations or pics of side saddles mounted on your shotgun?

Maryland (FredCo & WashCo) Risk of Anti being appointed

Usually around this time of year we don't see much political activity. However, there is a vacancy in the House of Delegates that is going to be filled in the next week. The guy stepping down, Rick Weldon (District 3B) seemed to be solidly in favour of the RKBA. Unfortunately one of the two...

thank you, a little brute force is all it took!

How do I remove the cylinder from a Colt 1851 Navy Revolver?

Excuse the extreme naive-ness of this question. I've googled it and tinkered around with the Colt 1851 Navy Revolver and cannot figure out how the heck to remove the cylinder. Can anyone point to a good step-by-step instruction guide for breaking down this firearm?

    Backstocks for indoor ranges

Something I have always wondered about but was too embarrassed to ask. What stops bullets at the end of an indoor gun range. Do the bullets deflect downwards and into debris, or do they have a replaceable backstop that can absorb a lot of lead?

Fallout in Maryland from Virginia Tech

Procedure like this comes down from the Governors office. Writing letters + telephone calls to the Governors office would be the most effective way to voice opposition to this. Next step should be to contact your state senators and delegates and let them know how you feel about the government...

    A really frightening experience.

You could log back on to that computer and run 'netstat' to find his IP address. once you have it, use www.arin.net to find out where he is coming from. Then report it to the appropriate authorities (http://www.ic3.gov/), though they may not do much, it might give you some peace of mind.
