    Springfield XD45 Reliability?

Well, I have an XD45 and it is extremely accurate right out of the box. And, when I say extremely, I mean it has been the most accurate pistol that I own or have ever owned. So, maybe something wrong with the gun itself. Maybe you should have it checked out. Most everyone at the range that...

    Springfield XD's vs. Glocks

I agree Glocks are durable. But, how many times are us regular people gonna be in a situation of dropping them in the mud, pouring dirt down the barrel, or running over them with a 4x4? I am all for durability. But, I am more into how it fits me. And again, that is not to say Glock makes a...

    Springfield XD's vs. Glocks

I tried a Glock 45 and it felt like handling a brick. So, I bought a Springfield XD45. Not to say Glocks are bad gun. They're just not for me.

    Bersa Rear Site Screw

I have had my Bersa 380 about 2 months and last week the rear site screw fell out at the range. I couldn't find it so I called Eagle Imports and they gladly sent me 3 of them for $3.00 + shipping of $3.00. I took them to the gun range, with some Blue Locktite. I followed the directions on...

    The Box O' Truth, 9mm's and .45's

Well, put it however it suits you. As for me, and this is just my opinion, if I had to get shot by one or the other, I would certainly think the 45 with 230 grain Hp's would certainly do a lot more damage. But then, I dont intend to find out either way. As for me, I own both a 9mm and a 45...

    The Box O' Truth, 9mm's and .45's

No, I am not saying that a 9mm will only bruise you and take your breath away at all!!! My point is this: everyone is comparing what will happen to you if shot with a 9mm and a 45. I was just making a comparison in the simplest terms I knew how like comparing being hit with a mop handle...

    The Box O' Truth, 9mm's and .45's

Let me put it like this: I would not want to get hit with either one. But, If you think of it this way. Which would you choose if you had to take one of the following: #1. Being hit in the chest with a mop handle swung by Barry Bonds. or #2...

    site adjustment

All my guns shoot great except for my S&W Model 910/9mm........it seems to shoot about 3"-4" to low. i have looked but it seems the only adjustment that can be made is right or left. Is there a way to adjust these sites up and down? Thank you for your imput in advance, HannibalTheCrow

    best 45 load

I just bought a new Springfield XD45 4". I have been told that 230 grain is the best load for 45 and I have been told that it is too slow that I should be looking at 185 or 200 grain. What does all you 45 shooters out there have to say? Thank you very much for your input, HannibalTheCrow

    regualr vs sub compact

I am considering buying a Springfield XD 45. I am wanting either the 5" or the 4" sub compact. I will NOT be carrying this concealed very much. It will be used as Self Protection, Home Protection and the Gun Range. I also already have a S&W model 910 9mm and a Bersa 380. What I am...
