I love my .280. I have hunted elk with it using 150 gr. partitions, thought I never connected with an elk, they have taken a few whitetails with no problems, same goes for 140 gr. BT.

I am by no means a GM fan either. I will usually go there and look around, and that's it. I have found one good buy at GM, and that was my Burris FFII scope/bino set for $175 last Christmas.

Not really a hunting mag, but I like Rifle Magazine, along with Bow and Arrow Hunter, and Bowhunter. Others, ehh some are ok.

I think this is one of the stupid laws in AR. Hunting deer over bait is prohibited Feb. 1-28. From 1 Oct-31 Jan, it's legal though.

I have two Bushnell Elite 3200's and I am happy with them. I had three, but only got rid of the third one, as I sold the rifle it was on. I have Burris and Nikon scopes along with other cheaper brands. I like my Bushnell Elites the best.

I am in the Air Force, and I have been threatened with orders to Scott AFB, IL a few times. If I do get orders there, I dread it.

Like others have said, no real deals at pawn shops around my house. Heck, I have seen many want more than retail on a used one than the new ones cost. I have tried haggling with a few, but to no avail.

I've had the best luck with Butch's Bore shine, followed by Shooters Choice.

I did the same thing a few years back, and the air compressor took care of it for me. Worked great, just keep the barrel pointed down.

I would have to say the CZ. I have actually decided not to buy a new rimfire at the moment, as the CZ is a little above my price limit, but the others to me at least don't compare.

I am about to start shooting more 22 lr. Mine has been sitting idol for 10 years now. I am also shooting a lot more ML as well. I got most of my ML stuff on clearance when I lived in MT, and it was cheap, as they had no special season for it.
