My whole point in buying this was trying to avoid that label in the first place. :D I brought the gun to work today so I am going to put a few rounds through it later. Maybe there are better cheaper optics but so far this one really seems like junk. I will report back after I put it to use..

I was at the Philly gun show over the weekend and I was looking for a semi auto .22lr specifically a Ruger 10/22 and found one on Sat. I was walking around and kept seeing a good amount of cheap scopes from like $35 to under a $100. I picked up a few, looked at them at the 3 power setting and...

I went to the Philly gun show over the weekend. Was a lot to look at. I found this gun used but in very clean condition. Has a Nikon Monarch 3-9/40 scope and came with 5 boxes of ammo for $750. I thought this was a decent deal considering the ammo alone is worth close to $250. Here are some pics..

Finally got it out to the range last night. So far I really like it. Got more accurate as I got used it. Took a few adjustments but started to shoot very nice groups. Here is a pic of the 3rd set of 5 I shot.. This was indoors at 25yds. using standard Remington cheap ammo.

I really had my mind set on a 10/22 but they did not have any in stock. After playing with this one I had to have it. If it shoots half as well as it feels in my hand I will be happy. Any suggestions or comments are welcome. :)

My Mini is probably my favorite gun.. Its a lot of fun to shoot. This one is a hand me down that was probably bought in the very early 80's..

Cool video, it looks like it has some punch behind it. I need to try some gloves next time out. My hand just hurts after 6 or so rounds..
