    Steyr or CZ

Steyr's aren't THAT offbeat. It's actually very similar to a Glock, right down to the tenifer finish. Main difference is traditional rifling (good for cast lead), an even lower bore axis, and a slightly different grip feel. You can't go wrong with either one, though.

    Steyr 9mm

I have an M9-A1 from CDNN and it's top notch. Like Shadan7 says their quality is way more than the selling price. Best kept secret around.

    Going Coyote Hunting!

Never been coyote hunting either, but it's fairly popular around here. If you're allowed to hunt at night, do so. They're more active. Set up a comfortable place to lay low for a long time and mind your scent, just like deer hunting. You can bait 'em with entrails or road kill, or you can...

Ratio of Traditional MLs to Non-Traditional MLs

    2/0 here, but I've got plenty of non-traditional non-muzzleloaders.

can't get any cheaper then this

I shoot funshow-purchased patched roudball at the range all the time! Save the fancy swaged balls and conicals for matches and hunting.

    magnum

No inline or 209 experience here, but I've tried both regular and "magnum" #11 caps and have not noticed a difference. All I shoot is 777 FFFg and holy black, though :)

    Pyrodex and Duracoat

Shouldn't hurt it one bit. As with any coating, surface prep is key. Make sure you or your smith does a good job blasting and degreasing the metal.

Ruger Mark III 22/45 and Remington Thunderbolt Ammunition

That video shows leading, not wax buildup. I think Wanderinwalker is right, that it's leading more due to undersized bullets, or maybe the lead is too soft. Either way, all you need to do is pull a patch or two through before the leading gets that bad. Leave the bronze brush at home! Use a...

Lyman GP powder and ball recipe needed

In my 1:66 twist .54 Hawken, I usually run .530 ball on a crisco lubed patch, over 80 grains FFg. 1. Start with a low charge, say 60 grains or so. 2. Shoot a grooup and measure it. 3. Increase the charge by 5 grains. 4. Shoot another group and measure. 5. Repeat until the groups start to open...

Show your kit! lubed patch container ideas?

You carry patches in your rifle's patchbox, of course! Or if you stuck with some old gun that lacks state-of-the-art PatchBox(tm) technology in the buttstock, try a cap tin or a small ziplock bag ;)

    Goex

Hooray for Goex! I always prefer real black powder over substitutes, but it's getting so scarce these days.

9MM x 19 Barrel Twist and Bullet Weight?

Austrian Pistol makers Steyr M9's have a 205mm (1:9.8 in.) twist. Steyr M40's and M357's have a 406mm (1:16 in.) twist. Both work fine.

Disney's No Guns policy wounds visitor

That guy's AD was completely his fault. No point blaming Disney for it. However, if Disney was truly responsible about their policy, they'd have weapons clearing barrels at the entrance to Disney World. :D

    Newbie question

"Foofing" the barrel with just powder and a patch doesn't build sufficient pressure to burn BP cleanly. There will be chunks left behind that are not the same thing as regular fouling. If you must take a fouling shot, shoot a patched roundball. They're cheap.
