Steyr 9mm

So, I have long been considering gettng a Steyr 9mm. What do Steyr owners have to say? I am grateful for Steyr owners' comments....................elsullo

My response there:

I would heartily recommend getting one from CDNN while you can at this price. I own two Steyrs, a S9 and an M357 - both excellent guns, easily half the price they should be on the market. They're just not well known.

I have an M9-A1 from CDNN and it's top notch. Like Shadan7 says their quality is way more than the selling price. Best kept secret around.

I got an M9 and have never had a problem with it that was the guns fault. I did however have a wolf 9mm rd get stuck in my steyr and my beretta cougar half way down the barrel. Both of which I know were caused by the ammo. Which makes me mad because I like wolf but will never buy wolf 9mm again. Because I can't trust it not to piss me off.

I haven't picked up a holster yet, but I probably have close to 500 rounds through my M9-A1. It's really a nice pistol for the $$; mags are too expensive and it's been 100% reliable.

I have an older version S9. Its my winter carry gun. Accurate, dependable. Love it, wish I had another one.

matai - about $330 currently, if memory serves. Price has fluctuated from $350 to $320 over the last five or six months. It's a steal at anything under $350, far as I am concerned.
