I hear it both ways...never really thought about the more specific connotation. When I talk about an unintentional wreck, I usually just saw "went down" or "low sided/high sided." I guess using lay down as a verb insinuates that it was your intent to low side out... To keep it gun...

I messed around on the site and as far as I can tell the only Texas shoot is in Davilla... Am I reading this right? Anyone know of one closer to Houston? (thought I admit Davilla isnt all that far, I was just amazed that there was only one shoot in the entire state...)

I bought one a few months ago...got the itch, and academy happened to have one for under $250 OTD. Ive taken it to the range twice and put maybe 150 rounds through it...no malfunctions of any kind. Feels nice in my hand and the trigger is smooth, as you said. I'm not particularly accurate...

This is actually a debate I've been having with myself quite a bit lately. Grew up shooting a 1911, and so I've become accustomed to that extra step in between drawing and firing, and very much like the presence of a safety just as one extra confirmation step between touching and firing. On the...
