I bought a used loadmaster from a guy that couldn't make it work. I've got it working just fine in four different calibers and about to add 2 more. It just needed some adjustment. Yes, I crushed a couple of primer sliders at the start but that was because I didn't read and understand how things...
I use the small US cleaner from Harbor Freight. Hot water and a little Iosso brass cleaner and 9 minutes later I've got clean brass. Rinse with hot water, hang in a mesh bag to air dry. Straight Iosso takes about 3 minutes. If you want shiny you have to use a combo of Iosso and RCBS Sidewinder...
The best thing I've found to us in the HF ultrasonic cleaner is Iosso brass cleaner. I have the small HF cleaner and use hot water and a couple of caps full of Iosso. Cleans them up real nice but they will be a bit dull.
If you must have shiny brass run them through a second pass with RCBS...
If anyone has a used loadmaster they want to get rid of I'd be interested. Either for the price of shipping if you hate it so much you just want it gone or for a fair used loader price. I like to fix things that are "unfixable".
I am serious. If anyone has a load master they want to get rid...
I don't tumble brass at all. I hate dealing with the media mess. I clean all my brass with Iosso brass cleaner and a cheap ultrasonic cleaner. Throw them in the basket run the cleaner for 5 minutes, rinse in hot water, put in a mesh bag and hang them up to dry for a few days. Not as shiny as...
Well, this is my fifth post so I've edged into the credible side of things and by the way, Dude, I don't have a .308 AR. It is on a .223 version. My osprey is working fine after another couple hundred rounds. Maybe she'll blow up on the next round fired but so far that hasn't happened. I've had...
I have 180 rounds through my AR15 with an osprey 3x9x42 mounted on it with no issues. Rock solid so far. It works as advertised. I zeroed at 100 yards with a 3/4 inch group. Two of three shots you could cover with a dime. I cranked it up to 200 yards and it was right on the money. Ditto for 300...

Got the Osprey 3x9x42 scope mounted. Replaced scope ring screws with longer screws and torqued to 20 in-lbs with small drop of loctite. Torqued rail mount screws to 35 in-lbs. Bore sighted and took it to the range. Took 12 shots to get it shooting 3" high at 50 yards and another 12 to get it...
I bought one to try just to see for myself if the things are any good. I'm mounting it on a Rock River AR and will be doing some testing in the near future. I'll post back with the results. I will say at first glance the Osprey looks good. The glass is bright and clear. Fit and finish look good...
