Possible i guess. But this is my third one, I've also got a couple of 1911s a cz75b and a barreta 92, and a lc9 i can't hit a buffalo in the butt with at three yards.

I have a RIA baby 1911. The way i carry concealed, the dove tail on the backstrap pokes me in the side when i sit. Its heavy for its size. Its loud as all getout. It function great. The wait helps control when firing. I love mine, but i carry a ruger 9mm most of:o the time.

My carry gun feeds hollowpoints just fine.i carry hornady in it. I also carry a clip of fmj in my pocket. I've just never seen a fmj mushroom like these . Ill see if i can post a pic.

I bought some winchester 45 185 grain fmj that are kinda like a simi wadcutter. They have a very thin jacket and mushroom very well .i guess they would be more cone shaped with a big flat point. Any way i was wondering about these as carry ammo. They feed vert well in my baby 1911. Any ise this...

Only problem i've encountered is load them with 30 rounds as the spring is to tight for proper function with 32 rounds. I have three and boy you can eatup a lot of ammo fast with them.

I've carried 1911s in one form or another for years, cocked an locked. But now I'm older i seem to carry my p95 due to the safety. Disconnects the trigger. I love 1911s shoot them quit well. I guess it must be old age.

I usually carry a ruger p95 while I'm working it spends most of the day locked in my car,as firearms are not allowed. When I'm off i carry the 1911 compact as its on my side all the time. I do park the car in a private parking lot with video surveillance though at work.
