I called National Mossberg Collectors Association and they said the T46B and the 46TB are the same gun made between 1938 and 1939. The Peep sights came on the gun stock and the scope and mounts were factory special order. Now I need to buy the book off them to lean more. They were very helpfull.
I don't want to confuse you. Every one here has good ideas. It all boils down to what you can spend so with a $500 limit the Ruger is your best bet. I would look for a Mark 2 they have the most aftermarket parts to upgrade it. I found a beat up MArk2 at a gun show and picked it up for $175 and...
I just got my hands on a Mossberg T46B 22. I can't seem to find much info on it. The one I got has the peep sites and it also has a Mossberg scope and mounts. Can any one tell me any thing it.
Just a little poll for those of you who shoot Bullseye.
Which average is better 22 or centerfire and buy how much.
I don't want to what your average just the difference.
My 22 is about 2 points higher than my centerfire.
My Dad started shooting bullseye last year and is having trouble with his trigger on his Mark 3. Some one at our club told him he needs a wider triger ( he has arthritis very bad). He is thinking this would help hem since his trigger finger has trouble bending. My question is where can I get a...
I'm glad I started reloading years ago. I had to go to my local Wally World to see for my self and they seemed to have the shelves stocked some didn't have very much on them but it was there. You guys need to reload it can be just as much fun as shooting and it gives you something on those bad...
It's a mind game to me I over think the shot to much. Some nights are better than others 3 weeks ago I shot a 294 11x(95s 100t 99r) so I know I can do it. Some day when I have time to practice alot.
Steve I wish I could shoot in the middle 90s in slow fire, I get exited when I shoot a 92 or 93. I think I going to shoot slow just like I shoot timed I have a 98.5 average in timed. I shoot better when I don't have much time to think I guess.
I have been shooting indoor pistol for many years and have never shot an outdoor match. The 22 ammo stays the same but what about the 45 ammo? Do you just change the sights or do you change the load? I want to shoot a 2700 outdoor match this spring.
I shot in a NRA sectional this weekend and froze my butt off the range I shot in has to be the coldest indoor range I have ever shot in. It was 44 degs buy the heaters. But I did shoot my best score an 850. I still would like it a little warmer.
