I am aware that bushnell made products in japan and Korea. and I've seen models identical to mine that were made in Japan.
My space master 78-1800 is made in USA. is anyone else aware that they made some in the USA? online I have seen photos of identical models but around the...
it is terribly expensive and is nothing I would be in a hurry about doing and yes it does appear cheaper to buy a whole gun. I will probably just hang on to the Beretta and not convert it to a slug gun as I have browning bps 20 ga. and a Remington 1100 12 ga. Both with cantilevers and rifled...
hello guys my father just told me that he is going to give me his beretta 390. it is an old sporting clays gun and he does not ever shoot it anymore.
I do not shoot sporting clays anymore either and I am interested in getting a slug barrel on it. It is an older Italian made model I believe...
Awesome, yeah I think the j34 is for me; I noticed the dragonfly doesn't seem to have waterproof zippers on the main compartment(s) like the j34. Plus the dragonfly would be better suited for camping.
I can't believe no other packs have copied the rifle scabbard idea. A good rifle carry...
Glad to see replies; thank you.
H&H, sounds great; do you think the expandable meat compartment can hold the majority of a boned out mule deer? I guess I would be placing the meat in game bags and then in the pack. Your post and water-mans vote makes me lean even harder towards eberlestock...
I am going on my first mule deer hunt soon, my father and I will not be Camping out; just going out for the day each time; but I want the pack to be able to haul meat back to the vehicle if the hunt is successful. I want it to have a good rifle carry system as well.
I have been looking...
Tipton carbon fiber is my favorite. I love how they stay sraight. I use bore snakes a lot. And shooters choice mc#7 is the best bore cleaner ever; makes a quick easy job even out of my muzzleloader barrel. Amazing stuff. My local gun store owner told me it was the best for black powder barrels...
Shooting coyotes up to mule deer; I think a 270 WSM would be great; if I shot a lot of coyotes and only a couple of mule deer hunts; I'd might drop to the 270 win; which should be more of a pleasure to shoot. Although the WSM with 130 grain bullets Has pretty mild recoil in my opinion.
I ask because I get the last 10 days of december off work. I am only interested in a rifle hunt for my first mule deer hunt. I was wondering if there are any rifle season that run through Christmas week; anywhere in the west; No particular state; just want to know if any of the states have a...
I actually have a lapping bar kit. I have never lapped rings yet; nor have I done any type of bedding. I wish i did. This was only the second time I have ever used shims. I only had to fire one shot today and thanks to noting my reticle location on the grid pattern before shimming the scope, It...
Sako 75 finnlight; actually the old OPTilock mount's consisted of bases and rings but I dislike them. I like the ring mounts that just have a large keeper screw that holds them to the taper dovetail receiver. OPTilock is making new ringmounts and they've only been out for a couple years. I have...
I have to shim the ring; rear ring; no bases on my rig. Ringmounts
Ok well I shimmed it with 5 pieces of pop can material. Now I am only 5 inches from center elevation instead of 20 inches like before. I feel much better about that. Just gotta shoot a couple more rounds. Using the grid pattern...
