I am aware that bushnell made products in japan and Korea. and I've seen models identical to mine that were made in Japan.

My space master 78-1800 is made in USA. is anyone else aware that they made some in the USA? online I have seen photos of identical models but around the outside edge of the objective lens they always have "Japan" printed. Mine has "USA" printed in that spot.

my father bought the spotting scope new in the late 80's like 1989. I believe the lenses are probably from Japan but I had no idea they assembled scopes in the United States. does anyone else have any knowledge of American made Bushnell spotting scopes?

I always am happy to own a japanese made Bushnell because they are always high quality and the lenses are second only to German/European glass usually. the scope is very clear and I can easily see my 270 short Magnum impacts at 500 yards. I'm just curious if this is rare and only a few were made in usa or maybe they made this model in the states for a couple of years? thanks in advance for anyone who can share their knowledge.

I know Bausch & Lomb made scopes in New York many many years ago but I thought everything was made in Japan or Korea after that.
