Thanks for the info NC. I'm on my way to the basement to check the measurements. I was aware of the firing pin differences and found where guys were cutting down M98 pins for there Yugos because of the scarcity of parts. Thanks again!

Can anyone tell me the correct lenght of a yugo 48 firing pin. I had some light strikes on some milsurp ammo lately and have changed the firing pin spring, that helped but still getting light strikes. It has no problem with factory ammo. The pin doesn't look broken. I know the milsurp ammo...

Mine backed out while shooting, far enough to jam the bolt to the receiver. I found a new pin a little larger than the old one, drove it through, and filed the ends smooth. I used a center punch to expand the center of the pin on both sides and have not had a problem since. good luck!
