    Trade value

Proposed trade; I have a Yugo M72 that I've owned for about a year, I'm the initial owner. It comes with 3 mags and I'm throwing in a 75 round drum for a Ruger M77 Mk2 stainless steel in .308 with a Bushnell 3-9x40 banner scope. The Ruger owner wants $650.00. I feel this is a fair trade but...

    sks general disscusions

I agree with Killchain the 10 rd mag is the most reliable, the 30rd duck bills are a crap shoot at best. I've owned 2, the first one did the dreded "slam fire" while shooting it at the range. Scared the sh$# out of me and I got rid of it as fast as I could! I didn't know about that problem, but...

    SKS

Don't give up on the Monte Carlo stock. Just put one under my bro's. The only thing needing to be done was the fore grip guard needed to be fitted to the gas tube and removing the pin, no sweat. It looks good to. From the rescearch I've done the Choat (sic) mount that is drilled and tapped to...

    Yugo 48 firing pin lenght

Thanks for the info NC. I'm on my way to the basement to check the measurements. I was aware of the firing pin differences and found where guys were cutting down M98 pins for there Yugos because of the scarcity of parts. Thanks again!

    Yugo 48 firing pin lenght

Can anyone tell me the correct lenght of a yugo 48 firing pin. I had some light strikes on some milsurp ammo lately and have changed the firing pin spring, that helped but still getting light strikes. It has no problem with factory ammo. The pin doesn't look broken. I know the milsurp ammo...

Pin problem with Kalash - calling AK lovers

Mine backed out while shooting, far enough to jam the bolt to the receiver. I found a new pin a little larger than the old one, drove it through, and filed the ends smooth. I used a center punch to expand the center of the pin on both sides and have not had a problem since. good luck!

    Rifle ID

Thanks guys, my next question is what would be a price he could ask for it. I've already explained "bubba's" are not as valuable as orginials. Just a ballpark figure.

    Rifle ID

A co-worker showed me this rifle and asked if I could identify it. There are no markings above the stock, I couldn't remove the stock so I don't know whats underneath it. He has never shot it and doesn't know the calibier. Its in really good shape, just needs a good cleaning and a check over...

Deals when you least expect it

Was talking to a vendor the other day about a new rifle I bought when he mentioned he wanted a pistol. Earlier in the conversation he mentioned he had a Hi Point 995 classic carbine he didn't use much anymore, and I said I had a Taurus 9mm I don't use much anymore. He's getting the purchase...

Went to the range to test fire my m72 I picked up from Classic Arms. Its a shooter! Had some trouble getting it on paper and I still need to work on it but overall it's a nice rifle. It was hard to get a good sight picture, couldn't get my head at the right angle, I need to shoot in more and...

    Yugo M72

I just finished putting it together after a bath in the shop's parts tank today. I recieved it from Classic Arms Inc. yesterday. I did an initial inspection and was pretty happy, no scratches or dented wood. The stock and fore grips are not finished, but don't look like they were just cut...
