Alright, sounds good. I know this is starting to get off topic (Mods, feel free to adjust the thread or scold me if needed :evil:), but I have some leftover Blue Wonder stuff that my grandpa gave to me. Any thoughts on that stuff? I don't have much experience with it.

I like to consider myself pretty mechanically inclined, so filing wouldn't be an issue. My biggest fear is that I'd pick a cold blue that doesn't match up well.:what:

Alright, thanks for the tips. I'll probably (if I can ever work up the guts) blend the safety, because it is ridiculously chunky and sticks into my strong hand thumb at the first joint. That being said, it appears to be blued, so a standard gel or liquid cold blue should be acceptable.

Are there no solutions besides a standard cold blue? It seems as if there has to be some chemical out there that would react correctly. Besides, from what I hear, cold blue pens are absolute trash.

I think the spring is a tad too stiff, not worn out. My theory (feel free to examine it) is that the slide can't gain the necessary velocity for solid ejection due to an overly stiff recoil spring.

Factory 115 grain Blazer Brass. I checked Wolff, but to change the spring, I would need a new guide rod, but I keep reading that to make a normal 92 rod fit a 92a1, you need some sort of bushing. No idea where to find one, though.
