    Carry In A Bank?

Well I work for a bank but let me clue everyone in on something. I don't know about the legalities of carrying in your state but most all Banks are federally insured institutions. Trust me, you don't want to test the fences on this issue. Rest assured of one thing, if you are found to be...

    Two great .22 pistols-S&W 422 & 2214

I totally agree. I have a Smith Model 422 also and it will pretty much eat anything I put in it. I have run about 300 rounds thru it so far and not one failure. Totally reliable. I also have a Sig Mosquito that I really like better but I am sad to say it is nowhere near as reliable as...

    Has the Ruger SR-9 Tanked?

A buddy of mine bought one. He had it at the range a few weeks ago and offered to let me try it out. I must say that it shot very well. The recoil was very managable and the SR-9 funtioned flawlessly. Trigger was very Ruger like, scratchy and heavy but it pointed true and was very...

    Glock 17 Vs. Sig P226

My vote is for the Sig P226 too. I had a Glock 17 and I liked it but I swear the Sig seems to be made especially for me. It fits my hand like a glove and points straighter than any other pistol I have fired.

    Random observations concerning reliability/accuracy

I guess I am an exception to the rule. I have owned probably 50 different handguns over the last 15 years. Sold some, traded some, still have some. I have owned Glocks, Sigs, Colt, Springfield, Taurus, S&W.....just to name a few. In that time period, I suppose I have sent thousands of...

What's the deal with that Blue Book Values!!

Everytime I go to trade at a gun shop, the dealer will pull out that STUPID Blue Book of Gun Values. Have you looked at that the Blue Book lately? :what: I wish I could buy guns for the values listed in that book. In most cases, dealers will only offer me 60-65 percent of what the gun is...

    The first 1911 we buy

Colt. Often imitated but never duplicated. I like Colts. You can pick one up for $600-$700. Colt's consistantly hold their value better than any other 1911. I paid $600 for this one. The Springfields are nice. I wouldn't shy away from them. I picked up this lightweight...

Tell me about the Sig P225

Buy one. You will not be disappointed. There are a bunch of the West German Police P6/P225 being sold right now for $375 or less. What a bargin. I highly recommend you snap one up before they are all gone. Here is mine. I love it.

I got yet another SIG - pics

I just picked up a West German Police P6/P225. Gander Mountain bought a bunch of these and was selling them at $349. I am well pleased with mine. The Sigs are real nice pistols.

    Springfield Mil-spec .45 1911

I have noticed this too. It drives me crazy.

    Perfect 9mm pistol

I think it all boils down to what gun inspires the most confidence in you. If you are confident of the gun's abilities, you will shoot it better and feel that it is best for you. I think that is the primary reason many of us choose one over the other. The accuracy debate will continue long...
