    VP9 9mm

I bought one a while back. I compared it to my Glock 19 and Walther PPQ. The VP9 does have a nice trigger and feels great in hand. But I sold it. My Glock was a more compact 4" barrel 15 round 9mm. The Walther's trigger was just as good, if not better. I preferred the grip of the Walther, it is...

    Gun death statistic

I think this table could be useful. https://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr/crime-in-the-u.s/2014/crime-in-the-u.s.-2014/tables/expanded-homicide-data/expanded_homicide_data_table_8_murder_victims_by_weapon_2010-2014.xls

    DA/DA semi autos your opinion

The Beretta PX4 is another good choice. In addition to having a good trigger pull it is also a very soft shooting pistol. If you do not like the safety it can be converted to a decocker only version, G model.

    My BCM and Wolf Ammo

I just got a mid-length BCM 16" upper. I put it on my 6920 lower with an H2 buffer. The buffer spring has close to 1000 rounds on it. I've put 100 rounds of wolf through the BCM without issue. Just wanted to note my experience because I have read that BCM gas ports are smaller than most...

Introducing your kids to firearms and firearm safety

I was very up front with my kids. I showed them my guns and made sure to show them that they are empty. And I told them that whenever they wanted to see them to tell me and I'd get one or two out and we'd look at them. This takes all the mystery out of it. Every time we look at one I emphasize...

Those Who Don't Like the Tavor

For those of you who have one, other than the overall length, what do you prefer about the Tavor over an AR?

Those Who Don't Like the Tavor

This has turned into a trigger discussion. For those of you who have actually shot a Tavor how does the trigger compare to a stock Sig. When I started this thread I was looking to hear about any other flaws that aren't normally noted. Any personal experiences, though, are appreciated.

Those Who Don't Like the Tavor

The Tavor has grabbed my interest. All the reviews are about the same, great gun with a bad trigger. I'd like to hear from people who have had one and decided to get rid of it.

    Great Customer Service Experiences

Walther was awesome. I got a PPQ and had an issue with the slide lock. I called them. They paid for the shipping and had the gun returned to me within a week of receiving it. Can't ask for more than that.

Triggers in 9mm Glocks vs 40 Glocks

All the parts are stock and all the guns were bought new from the same store. I wish there was an explanation because I really like the pull on the 40's. As for the 3.5 connector, I really don't want to go lighter, just crisper. Thanks for the reply.

My wife who doesn't get excited over guns, got excited over a purple P238

My wife got a 238 and loves it. She has even gone shooting on her own because she likes it so much. She never did that before. You may have people tell you that due to the 1911 battery of arms that you should get her something else. If that is the one she picks, after looking around, get it for...

Triggers in 9mm Glocks vs 40 Glocks

Went shooting yesterday with a friend. He has a Glock 23 Gen 3. I have a Glock 19 Gen 4, 17 Gen 4 and a 27 Gen 4. I noticed that both my 27 and his 23 had much better triggers than my 17 and 19. The triggers on the 40's feel like a heavy single action trigger. While in the 9's the break is just...

Need Input from Sig 238 Owners

Thanks for all the responses. I feel compelled to comment on concerns that have been made about her choice. I agree that the manual safety is not optimal. However my wife is very smart and can figure it out. Also I explained the necessity of practice to get the actuation of the safety to be...

Need Input from Sig 238 Owners

My wife is wanting to get a ccw pistol. We have gone to the LGS's and she has handled all the leading candidtes, the S&W Shield, Sig 938, Kahrs, Glock 42, S&W Bodyguard and Ruger LC pistols. The 238 is what felt best to her and the one that she is excited about owning. So, that is the one I'm...
