Anyone have much experience with these? I'm trying to pick out a pistol for my (small) wife, that would have a little better power than a .22 LR, yet almost no recoil. How accurate (or not) are they, and how reliable (or not) are they. In particular, I like that they are stainless... Thanks...

Mine is the most accurate handgun I've ever fired. No exxageration - one hole (not one bullet hole, sillies... one big'ol ragged hole) at 20 yds. Howsumever - it will only feed and chamber hardball. period.

Everything everyone said, plus...it's reliable, it's the perfect counterpart to a 1911A1, and it's very, very easy to work on. Oh...and it's dead sexy....

BSA has been real iffy in my experience. The same for Simmons - cheap Simmons are to stay away from; good (higher priced) Simmons are good scopes. However, after 30 years of trying, I've settled on two - Leupold for when I can afford it, and older Weavers for everytime else. It's still hard...

Don't be misled by everyone's comments. This pistol has a value of $75 to $85. Possible 15% higher, if someone really wants it badly. Don't just take my word for it, check out some online sales and auctions. :o

I had my 300 Savage rechambered to .308 (they are near identical) because ammo is far cheaper and more available, with a wider selection.
