Good news.. Well, got some good and bad news, good news is that I solve the problem, all I needed was a shorter link, bad news was it set me back about $9.50 to get a new link(Ok, I'm not in the US) Thanks again to those who pitch in to help.

Thank you guys for the quick replies. I apologize for not including some other info such as: 1) Already tried it w/o the link, w/o spring, it's a no go. 2) Already tried it w/ another barrel, works fine w/o any issues 3) Notice that the barrel lug (farthest from the chamber) got the blued rub...

I know this is kind of hard to get across with only words, but I'll give it a shot. Just about finish with my first build from the ground up, got all the components fitted together good, the fire control, safety are working fine, slide to frame are a snug fit, barrel to slide locks up good. But...
