    Plastic wonders - your favorite(s)?

Walther p99. Better trigger than the Glock, better ergonomics than the XD, beautifully made, very accurate.

    CZ 75B vs Walther P99

I've owned both, and as said, they're very different. The Walther was flawlessly reliable; the CZ would occasionally FTE. The CZ was very comfortable and pleasant to hold and shoot; the Walther never felt right in my hands - but I consistantly shot it better than the CZ. The Walther was...

    P99, H&K USP, SIG 226 or G17 etc.

Personally I prefer the 226 and the p99. But you could hardly go wrong with the others. For the money I think the p99 wins in terms of quality, accuracy, reliability and ergonomics.

    Sig Trailside?

My 6" Trailside has been kind of tempermental. Failures to feed on the second to last round of every mag. Sig replaced the (MUCH TOO EXPENSIVE) mags under warranty and it works acceptably well - slide fails to lock back occasionally but it's getting better as the mags wear in. It's a...

    Anybody notice on SIGS...

My 226 made in 2004, hammer looks straight to me.

    The best .22 LR Pistol

I'd really like to recommend the Trailside, but mine has had nothing but problems since I bought it. Lots of failures to feed, slide won't lock back on last shot, slide to frame fit has so much play the rear sight never lands in the same place twice. It is ergonomic, has a fantastic trigger, and...

    Baikal air pistol

My apologies - I was commenting about the 46m. No experience with the other, unfortnately.

    Baikal air pistol

Oh yeah, I know. My point was that my Baikal is reasonably powerful relative to other pistols of similar ratings.

    Baikal air pistol

I have one. It's more accurate than most shooters will ever be, even with crappy pellets. It's rated at 475 fps - I have two other air pistols rated at 400fps and the Baikal does penetrate a bit better than either of them FWIW. I don't think I'd go after a bear with it, though. Considering what...

Which Production Handgun Would You Want Built in a Different Caliber?

Ruger Mark II in 9mm or .380. No real practical application and probably impossible given the design, but it'd be cool and I'd buy one.:)

What is number 1 gun you really like but DON'T have?

6" Colt Python Sig 210 Sig GSR Next purchase will probably be the Python.

What's your favorite 9mm target ammo?

I usually get S&B from Natchez. Costs about the same as WWB and more accurate for me.

What is the least reliable pistol line?

Of modern designs, probably the Walther p22.
