The Colt 70's series I gave to my Dad,(he gave it back to me to put in my safe because of the grandkids) and the gun I bought when my son was born.

Pre 70 Combat Commander. We go back a long way together. Others have come and gone, but the Colt is my steady companion.

My dad's .32 Ruby pistol.
He was a WW2 vet, won the pistol from a French ex-pat in a poker match in England, and carried it while performing his duty as a top turret gunner/radio operator on a B17 bomber.
He felt the 1911 was too clunky and heavy to strap on in the aircraft and the little .32 was just perfect.
