i am never tired of caliber debates because there is always someone out there who is new to the debate. We were all new at one time, these caliber debates are a good way to get a newb aquainted to their favorite cailber :)

No i never drink, but yes i do carry into bars. Its no different then carrying anywhere else. I buy my regular unhealthy bar food, a Dr. Pepper, chillout with friends. If something happens in there because someone wants to be stupid with me, i'll be the first to leave the bar, unless...

Wow thats so crap. I am never purchasing from them again. I just sent them an e-mail letting them know, and a link back to these thread.

What i mean is does anyone ever carry in resturants/bars type things? Or places where there is a sign clearly posted that no weapons allowed? I frequently find myself carrying into these places anyway because i don't feel its worth my trouble to remove my protection at the expense of owner...

I have a Taurus 905 and with the exeption of the super thin and flimsy moonclips, it is a great 9mm revolver. Lockup is great, good balance and good finish. I like your idea, keep a few moonclips with hollow points in them and never use them unless someone is trying to re-arrange your face...

I have one of the Taurus 905's in 9mm. I love the thing to death. It has excellent lockup, quality is superb and has never failed me. However! The moonclips they provide are really really flimsy and is a deffinite sore spot for them. Hey, gotta save a little coin here and there to provide...

My thinking is that they have the exposed hammer because its tradition and it makes the 1911 *look* like a 1911. In fact, a lot of the appeal of the 1911 is based on tradition, not to say its not a good gun, but i'm sure a lot of people here like the 1911 for more the just pure function. I'm...
