I know a local attorney here in NC that has done my Will and closing on my house. He does Trusts. When I talked to him about doing one and explained about my SBR project guess what he said? He asked me to find out how I add the SBR to my Trust through ATF.

Ya, it had it's uses. It was issued to me in Basic and AIT. Then they took it away and gave me the Mattel Toy but..............I'm glad I had Matty Mattel instead of the M14 humping in the bamboo jungles a long time ago in a land far, far away. No mistake there.
I would recomend a gunsmith who works on 1911's to do this. This doesn't mean that you are not capable of doing it yourself, I just know too many guys who have ruined a good 1911 by doing what you stated above.

There are good and bad on every forum. I like variety and I travel to a number of gun sites trying to learn or pass along some things I've learned. ARFCOM is an excellent resource if you stay in the AR15 section. If you end up in the General forum you might be in for a shock.
