let me know what you find in the sst's that's what i'm really wanting to load as soon as they become readily aval. the factory loading shoots excellent in mine but they wont give load specs.
I use 748 in my 223/22-250 loads for hunting loads. But have noticed that it does have a point of impact difference with temp change. Have never used w760. I use varget for target shooting for groups does much better over different temps.
Are you shooting suppresed? I use varget in all my 223's 1-7/1-8/1-9 and never have various except on a clean bore. 24 GRAINS WITH 77 GR BTHP 26 GRAINS WITH 52/55 GRAIN
go with the 550b the manual index is nice if a round doesnt prime right bullett cocks sideways the ooops short stroke. have had both now run 2 550's one set up for small and large primers. i load everything from 9mm to 300 win mag. quick change kits are also cheaper and make life alot easier.
get a mitch rosen iwb holster and gun belt i'm in nc and its 100 degrees here as well and can hide a full size glock20/21 in wallmart. his express line works very well just make sure you get the 1 1/2 in belt loop
I also load varget on a 550b i use 26 gr for 52 gr bthp match and 55 gr v max and 24 gr for 75 gr bthp match. All using winchester brass and winchester primers. All bullets hornady. I use the hornady 7th addition manual. It shoots 1/2 in groups at 100 yds out of my 700 pss or my rock river...
