I recently changed grips on my S&W 686. The new grip does not cover one small section on the right side of the gun, and it looks like the stainless steel is discolored or hazy. I have tried rubbing by hand but no luck. I wonder if this would be my answer. Scrrem

No, the rear sight on the XD-9 SC is pressed into a dovetail slot, no allen screw present. Need to new sight that fits the dovetail properly. I can slide this one out both sides with little or no effort. Scrrem

It was a brand new out of the box pistol. Yeah, I thought of changing the sites out, but I have been looking at the Lasermax laser site, still researching my options.
