What is/are your favorite inherited firearms?

I recently inherited a Boito over under shotgun from an uncle, that was my grandpas before his death in 2006. I also have a Remington 572 that my father received from my grandpa when he married my mom... pictured in the center. How bout you? I'll never sell these guns...

    Sig P226 is overrated!

I love my Sig Pro SP2022 9mm... It's my first Sig, and won't be my last. I drooled on a few P226's and P229 9mm's today at the gun shop.

Received my M&P back from S&W...

My M&P9c had the same rust on the rear sight, and a little on the back of the slide release lever and one of the metal punches near it... but I keep all my guns pretty well oiled, even the exterior. I was pissed when the sight was rusting though. That slide of yours looked rough, glad they...

    $600 to spend

Little more info on what you prefer? Polymer vs. Metal framed... DA vs. SA vs. DA/SA... Compact vs. Full size... Caliber... Taking a total shot in the dark with this suggestion... but I just bought a Sig Pro SP2022 9mm, and am totally in love with it. It's definitely one of the best kept...

POLL: What kind of gun lube do you use?

I have been using Weapon Shield as a CLP over all the surfaces (mostly as a rust preventative), but just bought a 1lb. tub of synthetic high-temp wheel bearing grease to put on the frame rails/slide. I'll probably run this combo until winter, when I'll switch back to just Weapon Shield. I've...

Crossbreed depressing mag release on Glock.. suggestions?

IDK about the OP... but I'm fat (6'4'' 260lbs). I wear all my Crossbreed's at around 4-4:30 on my hip, and my love handles dislike the company of a big IWB holster lol. They tend to trip the release if seated, but like I said (and others as well), I make it a habit to check the condition of the...

Crossbreed depressing mag release on Glock.. suggestions?

I had a similar issue with my Crossbreed and my M&P9c... I emailed Crossbreed, and asked if I should attempt to cut a hole in the holster to reduce the thickness around the mag release. They promptly emailed back, stating the following... Taking their advice, I wet the back of the...

DIY/Results of Stippling Kahr PM9 and Sig Pro SP2022

ilsrwy27 - On the Kahr, just used a flat chisel tip. On the back of the Sig, used a dot style. olyeller - Haven't shot either one yet, been slammed lately. I actually went a bit higher than is pictured there, up past the mag release. My fingers wrap around and touch that area, I wanted texture...
