Hey, today I picked up a Savage 110c Series J in 30-06 Its in excellent condition. It has a scope of unknown manufacture. Gun seems functionally sound. I cant find much about online. Any input on these rifles? Seemed really cheap.

I bought a new vaquero in .357 mag this year. I always prefered the look of the 4 5/8", but when I held and pointed that and the 5 1/2", I ended up taking the 5 1/2" one home with me. Funny, because if I had not handeled both at the same time, Im sure Id have bought the 4 1/2"

I live in a cold, damp area. Whenever I have my guns out in the cold, I always do what RC suggested. I stand them near my coal stove till the are finished sweating and dry, then wipe em down with remoil before going back in the safe.

I love my new bearcat. I added a set of sack petersen stags, it has quickly become my favorite 22. I added a wolf reduced power spring, but I believe that was a waste of money. Great little revolver, and a fun challenge to shoot well. Mine loves CCI standard velocity ammo.

My LGS has kept a few types of 22 in stock, CCI standards being one of them. Theres a 2 box limit,and I always opt for the CCI standard every time I go. My bearcat and my 9422 both love the stuff. They told me the same, people buy the hot stuff while this sits. Fine by me
