If you didn't mind a size increase, the 40B has a "flat" (no palm-swell) grip, much like the picture, but yes, it's a .40 S&W. And, on guns with the de-cocker, you don't have to use it; you can manually de-cock if you wanna! Bill

+1 on the Speer Gold Dot 124's (+P), based largely on some folks' tests and the "general wisdom" from the folks at (*shudder*) AR15.com. And I made sure to run a couple hundred through my pistol before I settled on them. Bill

I've had a trigger job done by Matthew Mink, who frequents the CZ Shooters board. Excellent work, and decent turnaround. Angus Hobdell of Ghost Holster and Jim Miossi of Miossi Gun Works also do such work, but I believe Mr. Miossi is waay backlogged. HTH! Bill

There are actually three variants of the SP-01. The base model has a standard safety. The Tactical model has a decocker. The Shadow model is tricked for target shooting and has a safety, no decocker. Bill
