Does anyone have experience with both? Is the full size more accurate? I like the look of the compact a bit more but accuracy is most important to me. I have larger hands so the trigger reach should not be an issue. This would be mosty for the range and HD. Is there a .22 kit for the compact?

Thanks for the advise.

Yes I own both a CZ-75B and compact CZ-75D PCR. The PCR is as accurate as the 75B at least for me. Its lighter, smaller but still carries 15 rounds. My CZ .22 Kadet Kit conversion fits on both and I actually like it better on the PCR.

You know, I looked closely at a NIB CZ-75B POLICE last Saturday (03-15-08)
fpr the first time; as I thought they were just "junk guns"~! WRONG~! these
are quality weapons coming from the Czech Republic; and I was very highly
impressed with the craftsmanship, fit and finish of this particular weapon.
Hat's off too the many CZ fans that frequent these forums~! ;) :D

I also have both the CZ75 BD & CZ75 D PCR and concur with the comments posted by Pilot.....great handguns both!!!!!

I have three cZ75Bs, two cZ75 Compacts and a cZ75 Semicompact. One of the Compacts is the straightest shooting pistol I have ever seen. It is capable of better accuracy than I can shoot.

+1 for the CZ75B Compact. I have one in Satin Nickel and absolutely love it. Smoothest shootest, swetest pistol I own, out of 60.

Are the cz75 mags good? I read on one site that a guy had to go with promags to keep the gun from jamming.

Cornman, that's the opposite of what I've seen. Their mags are MecGar, the best on the block.

Best out of 60? Wow! What is your most accurate? how does it compare in accuracy to your most accurate?

"Smoothest shootest, swetest pistol I own, out of 60."

You will get great accuracy out of the compact or full sized. My fullsize has a better trigger, but it also has a few thousand more rounds through it. As someone else said, the Kadet .22 conversion kit will fit both.

Prefers Accuracy

Above and beyond these two good guns: a longer sight radius (up to a point) will usually result in better accuracy from the shooter, especially at 25yds and farther.
A couple of minutes off at 7yds is nothing, at 50yds it's noticeable.

The accuracy of my 75BD is nothing short of amazing.

Those shots, from 7 yards, were my first three shots ever with the Police. I got that gun since the price was simply too good to be true (brand new, $360 out the door - those days are gone), but I was instantly became a believer. I've run about 500 rounds of cheap WWB through it without a hiccup.

I also just got a PO-1, with an alloy frame it's a bit lighter despite having a rail. Very similar to a 75 Compact. It's said to be as accurate as any of the 75s. I understand it's also far and away their most popular model now. Photos and range report to follow.

Promags huh sounds like that guy needs some toilet paper because he has BS coming out his mouth.
The factory mags are top quality and so are the mecgars the OEM for the factrory mags.

Will CZ Kadet fit CZ SEMICompact?

Am interested in getting one of these 22 conversion kits but wonder if it will fit my cz semi compact with has hi capacity grip (16 rounds) with compact barrel. Anyone ever tried it?

I shot a friend's CZ75 B full size and it was great. I bought a CZ 9mm Compact. I really like this pistol. I have a Kadet conversion ordered for the Compact. I have 4-500 rounds of cast bullet reloads through the pistol and it functions 100%. The first picture is an offhand group at 7 yards using the little 105 grain Lee SWC with 3.8 grains of W231. This group was fired before doing the on-line trigger job I found on the CZ forum. The second picture is a group at 7 yards, offhand after the trigger job using 3.5 gr. of W231 with the Lee 105 gr. SWC loaded to 1.028 COAL. 5 shots- .45" group. (no morning coffee the day I shot that group.) I really like this pistol!

I have a full-size CZ75BD. It is tangibly more accurate than my MR9900 Baby Eagle. But the trigger is not nearly as nice. Still looking for a gunsmith that would work on a CZ...

Yes. the Kadet Kit .22 conversion will fit the semi-compact and also the compact models. It wil fit any modern CZ-75 variant.

I have a BD Police and a PCR. Both are exceptionally accurate and I can't see a difference. Recoil (what little there is with a 9mm) is slightly less in the full size steel frame Police versus the alloy framed compact PCR.

Someone asked the difference between a BD and BD Police. . . None I can see except the Police has a small lanyard loop. Mine also has a loaded chamber indicator and factory Meprolight nites. Don't know if those are standard on a "plain" BD or not, but I don't believe so.

Here's a pic of my Police . . .

Does anyone do custom metalwork on CZ75B? I want this square triggerguard rounded!

Yeah, isn't that trigger guard ugly.
I have one of mine scribed and have a couple of good files; all I need is to find the right paint for touch up.

I have had my PCR for 2 years now. One of the finest guns I own. I really want a Cadet kit bad. If you can try and rent both at a range and see which works best for you. Good luck and good shooting.
