Thanks. I did a slickguns search but it's only in stock 2 places and very overpriced. May have to wait, that's a pretty gun.

Ruger. Guy brought one to an NRA Basic Pistol Class. Had the best out-of-the-box trigger I've ever seen on a 1911. I own a bunch of Rugers and they are all excellent guns for the money.

OOPS. Missed the 9 mm thing. Never mind.

For around $950 the SIG Stainless Match Elite 9mm is a very good choice. Shot the Taurus, good choice under $650 in stainless, but hate the hammer lock, period. I have an old Colt MK IV Series 70 9mm, STI Trojan 9mm, Rock Island tactical 9mm and recently the SIG Traditional SME 9mm. The SIG is nearly as good of a shooter as the STI, The firing pin safety mechanism of the SIG keeps me from getting the trigger pretravel where it really needs to be IMO. The SIG still has a very nice trigger...now, out of the box it broke at close to 5.5lbs now it is right at 3lbs. Changed to a Techwell grip and magwell, changed out the ambi safety to a Wilson single safety, hammer pin, Wilson solid aluminum trigger, EGW slide lock and a Dawson fiber optic front sight. It's now ready to replace the STI as my USPSA Single Stack pistol. here is a picture before I made most of the changes to the pistol.
