Beretta 92FS vs. Brigadier

Unless it's a used gun, or Cabela's is a Wilson Combat dealer, you will not see a Brigadier Tactical there. The Wilson Combat Brigadier Tactical and their newer Compact version are not sold through regular Beretta dealers, only through Wilson Combat. The entire production run only gets shipped to Wilson.

Just a sidenote: some competition models (92 Combat, 92 Stock) also have rounded trigger guards, among other things.

So, maybe I am more particular about handgun sights than others.

Well, I think you are, but I'm sure not going to give you a hard time about it. We all have those things that we are particular about.

For me it's grip and trigger reach. I can pick up most guns and use the sights efficiently, but like I said, I imagine more experienced shooters than I are going to take notice of what you described than I would. I due really struggle with black on black sights, like a partridge sight. I can certainly aim them accurately, but my speed is pretty lame. I just need a three dot system, or at least a front dot to catch my eye.

But, it the grip doesn't fit me properly, or the trigger reach is not far enough for me, my shooting really suffers due to my particular hand shape.

Thanks for explaining.

True, but the chances of seeing one of those models in the used gun case at your local Cabelas? Not good. ;)

Would definitely prefer the Brigadier, especially the "G" (decock only) action. You'll probably have to have a holster made for it, but I think the additional features are worth it.
