Hey guys. A couple years ago I bought a Tristar C100 in 9mm. At the time I got a really good deal on it ($285 New). I only shot it a few times, and wandered off to other shiny new things. Lately, I've come to regain an interest in the little CZ 75 compact clone, and I'm beginning to really like it. The one thing I don't like is the factory plastic grips... Not bad, but something about them I don't really like; maybe the thickness, or possibly the slickness. I've always been a fan of wood grips on black metal guns, but that would probably make the grip even wider. I've been looking at the VZ and LOK grips as an alternative. The websites say they are a lot thinner. Does anyone have experience with either of these on a CZ or C100? Do they make an appreciable difference in the grip?

I put a set of VZ grips for a CZ compact on my Tristar C-100. No problems with the fit and really like the feel of them.

I found that the CZ compact rubber grips fit. There was a slight trim needed to get the screw to line up correctly. They are a little sticky on clothing so it may or may not be your ideal CC grip. The rubber sure grips well for range shooting and builds confidence.
