Anyone have a Tristar C100 40 S&W

I have been wanting a Tristar C100 for some time. I hear great things about the CZ design but really can't afford a CZ brand. I see a .40 cal C100 instead of the 9mm for a good price. I really wanted a 9MM because I already have a Glock 23, but I do have a lot of 40 cal ammo in the safe. I see a few reports here at THR on the C100 9mm, but can't find any on the .40.

If anyone has one, can you tell me what you think of it?

The .40 Smith version is newer. It may just be that there isn't much experience with it yet. I have the 9mm version and it is great. Something to keep in mind though, the frames are aluminum so from a durability standpoint, 9mm is most likely better in that platform IMO.

Tristar website says the frames are steel alloy if that makes any difference. I fondled a .40 Canik at Academy and it felt really nice, but didn't need another .40 cal as I have a .40 CZ 75 SP-O1 tactical.

They're completely non magnetic. Looks/feels like aluminum to me.
