Anyone here have experience with these two rounds out of a snub nose? The remington is their semi jacked hollow point.

I've read the hydra shoks are controllable and I'm not recoil sensitive. I don't see the hydra shoks recoiling any worse than then other 125gr rounds I've shot and can handle fine. The remingtons however I have no experience with.

Gun being used is my Kimber K6 Thanks for any help.

The title says "JSP", but I'll assume from the content you meant "JHP".

The old-school 125g semi-jacketed .357 Mag Remington opened up big, but didn't penetrate to the FBI standard in the latest series of Lucky Gunner tests in a snub-nose. The Hydra-Shok did the opposite. So it depends on how much stock you put in the 12"-18" penetration standard.

The Remington 158g SJHP opened up nearly as good, and penetrated better, so that might be an option too.

Remington indeed made/makes a 125gr JSP. Out of a 2 inch .357 it clocks like a standard 9mm.

In my S&W 19 snub I carry the Remington Golden Saber 125 gn load. It is kind of a 357 "lite". Pretty easy to control and most reports of its usage are positive.
