It's like an assembly line!

Oleg, you're just churning them out!

Oh, I just ordered 2 shirts from your excellent site. Thanks again for the work you do.

BTW, I am developing a calendar for 2005. Wonder if mixed eye candy and RKBA images would be best, or go with straight RKBA...

I would tend to try to separate the two. Now mind you, I have NOTHING against good eye candy ( :D ) but it seems to me that mixing the two, while pleasing to some, would just open the door to another avenue of criticism from anti-gunners.

But then, what's new about that. They'll criticize anyways.

Good stuff, as always. The first thing that popped into my head when reading was to add "Ancient" to the beginning, and change the end to "Learn something old". Not sure if that even makes sense though. :scrutiny:

Would probably only make sense to people like us, Nightfall...

Oleg: Great poster! I never got how quite a few people define martial arts as just hitting things.

I love how you legitamitize shooting as an art. While it seems completely legit to us, the antis would think differently.

Including eyeCandy will get your calendar into places that a straight Right to Arm & Keep Bears message would not.

As was discussed in an earlier thread, if you go for the Happy, Pretty theme, and it just happens to include responsile fun with firearms, you can start sneaking the "Guns == Maybe not as bad as I thought" message into people's heads. You will not be able to go over the top with gratuitous gun porn to do this... the Happy Fun idea needs to be stronger than the Girls With Guns idea.

How to pul that off... no idea... I'll let it percolate through the back of my head for a while.

How about "eye candy" with 12 steps of good shooting?

Geoff
Whose wife wouldn't let him buy one.

I'm with Dave - a pure RKBA calendar can be posted in the office, while the eye-candy type will get you some serious looks from the H/R folks....

Again -- an excellent new poster Oleg!

Calendar idea:

I vote for RKBA. Most of Oleg's pics give the added bonus of gun/interesting people/nice looking people/nice photography eye-candy.

Three suggestions to take or leave for a calendar:

1. One month devoted to the "four rules" would be great. I picture it cut out of the calendar and posted at shooting ranges and hunting shacks everywhere.

2. I personally would love to see a nice picture of John Moses Browning highlighting his contribution to gun design and RKBA -- maybe the photo of JMB holding his 100+ year-old autoloading shotgun design saying "JMB's designs for autoloading guns designed for everyday people are more than 100 years old, why does the government have designs on taking them away now?"

3. RKBA and gun-related dates in history (i.e. birthdays of Samuel Colt, JMB, John garand, etc. would be very cool)

Eye candy/RKBA.

Make one for the ladies as well.
