I have been very pleased with my Pap M92. I have not purchsed a muzzle device for it yet. I went ahead and cut the spot weld the holds the thread protector on and reblued everything. I have been thinking about finding a peice of steel pipe with about the same ID as the thread protector OD and cutting a 3-4" peice and having a local welder seam them together to make a flash hider. Any major glaring problems with that plan? I found the Krinkov muzzle device with the pin and sping for 15$, but I really do not like the looks of them.

Personally I find the Bulgarian 4-piece booster to be much more attractive than the Russian AK-104/105 type.

I like the looks of the Bugarian 4 pc flash hiders too, just seems like a lot of $$.

The back plate is drilled and tapped, was not easy. I also added two nuts to make sure it stays locked down. I would say medium skill level on gunsmithing to get it perfect.

I am super happy with it, stock locks up nice and tight.

I've got an 85 & 92 and started with this on both ... Not particularly fond of it but it's better than the piece of pipe that was on it, with the odd thread I haven't found anything I like better ... I had one like TIMC has except mine was on another rifle, I didn't like the way it tore up the foam in my cases.
