I know the advertisement said they've been around since 1968, but that was a first for me at Sportsman's Warehouse. Anyone have experience? I bought the 124 gr plated .355 diameter 9mm round nose. The price wasn't too bad, $25 for 250.

That sounds like a fair price. The market for reloading supplies has a lot of choices now that things have settled down some. Seems like such a short while ago I`d been glad to find them at an affordable price anywhere.

I found Sportsman's Warehouse a few years ago and some of their items sold can be had at a good price. I don't know who makes their bullets, haven't purchased any, but I've not heard anything bad about them...

Got some testers loaded up. I did find it interesting that the website stated these are plated bullets you can use the Lee FCD on.

RMR has their 9mm 124gr MPR JHPs $99/k shipped.
10% discount for THR members with a special code makes them $90/k.
Jake the owner asked that this code be PM only, if your interested shoot me a PM.

I have shot some HSM in .380 and they worked well, better bullets and prices from RMR IMO.

I use the Lee 9mm FCD on plated bullets all the time, adjustment is the key.
To much and you can squeeze even a jacked bullet.

You can us the Lee FCD on any plated bullets? It is all dependent on how hard you crimp. Many plated bullets these days are no much different than so called FMJ. Semi auto FCD taper crimps anyway.

I've bought 1,000s of them.

Use 'em in 38 spl & 357 mag.

Very consistent & shoot like a dream
My S&W Model 10 loves 'em

HSM is out of western MT. They have been reloading ammo for years. They contract with folks like Berry's, Speer, etc for bullets. They don't manufacture them but buy them, then resell.

Ah, OK. The ones I bought worked just fine, with a light FCD crimp, 6.6gr of Accurate Arms #7. I bought them because they were three dollars cheaper than the Berry's Thick Plate roundnose.
