Wow, thanks guys for all the advice, ya'll gave me a lot to chew on.
Heres the profile of the round(s).
230gr FMJ .451 diameter, 4.4 grains of titegroup, S&B Large Pistol Primer, once fired/ mixed brass
Utilizing Lee / Hornady reloading books.
As a new reloader here is my process
1. Inspect, clean brass (no tumbler yet)
2. Inspect, Decap, sort between large and small primers
3. Prime using Lee Ram Prime, Inspect
4. Flare, Inspect
5. Weigh out 4.4 grains of powder using the Lee Dipper that came with the .45 dies and Frankford Aresenal digital scale, funnel it into the brass
6. Insert projectile using Lee .45 dies, currently at 1.23 OAL measured by digital calipers , I will look in to a taper crimp and modifying OAL determined by my plinking.
7. Inspect the round, and if the bullet seated square
Its a slow process but I am not in a hurry.
