Okay, I chuckled quietly to myself as I saw that. I needed that link today!

Yes, it does appear that the scope is mounted backwards. Not that it matters with the thing being backwards... but I think the turrets on the scope (or... one of them at least) is on the wrong side too. Naturally it was mounted backwards to make the target appear smaller and thus reduce the perceived shaking of the shooter.
 
I had a gun store employee mount my wife's red dot sight backwards on an AR once. I just politely accepted it, called my buddies and laughed about it on the way home, then flipped it upon arrival.

Gotta pick your battles, id just as soon wait until I hear one of the uneducated tactical salesmen mention that a s&w 360 is the way to go for a small woman cause it's a small gun, and then have an opinion.
 
All i can say is a big LOL. Maybe he thought the trigger was installed backwards and decided to compensate with the scope mounting.
 
I asked the seller about that, and he said:

I changed the scope, but not the photo. If it offends you, buy the gun and do what you wish with it.
